There were various obstacles in getting to the cattle around Hopewell Sunday morning…
But we managed to get to the cows at St. Michael’s and the Martin tract with a little 4WD negotiating. The animals seemed no worse for wear. Though they were ready (and very vocal about it) to be moved!
Dave is in yellow and Joyce, below, was there to move any stray calves along behind the herd.
And then later in the day the sun came out. We weren’t in time to catch the rainbow on camera, but the harvesting was perfect.
