This week, Double Brook Farm is participating in the Farm to School lunch program at Hopewell Elementary School. We’ve supplied scallions and tomatoes so far.
Andrew and Chris have been hard at work harvesting the veggies to get them fresh to Tish, who runs Hopewell’s Elementary’s garden.

The whole effort will be concluded with Andrew and Chris visiting the kids in 2 weeks and talking to them about the healthy foods they ate from the garden. They are looking forward to it – the kids might be a more energetic audience than the animal farmers!
Double Brook Farm will also be donating food in support of a dinner that students from Princeton Day School are putting on mid-October. The students will gather and cook everything – we can’t wait to enjoy!
