Lamb Flash Mob and All-Employee Feast!

I promised the lamb cam and here it is. We are up over 160 lambs at this point. Check out the herd of tiny lambs circling the paddock.

I certainly couldn’t do this at 2 weeks old!

We also had quite a festive all-farm/market/restaurant party last week.  Lots of personalities – all awesome – on the team. Seriously, who else but Tim would introduce himself this way: “I’m Tim, the Master Butcher, and I am waiting to eviscerate something”.  Evidenced here by his skilled slicing of a Peep.

And there were not too many cooks in the kitchen, but just enough.

The fare was wonderful as usual… Here are Bob, Lisa and Megan’s cheeses…

And William and Steve’s ‘potted meat’…

I asked William how he created the seal to preserve the meat and he told me ‘a layer of fat’. I’m thinking of trying this on my face. I’ll keep you posted.

Last but not least, we had a small discussion on teamwork, where we’re headed and timelines. Then, the musical entertainment began. I never knew we had 2 talented pianists in addition to 2 drummers in our midst. And I think that’s the tip of the iceberg. I can’t wait until karaoke night!
